HENDERSON POINT State Recreation Area - just north of Townsville, NC
DIRECTIONS:
Henderson Point State Recreation Area is located on
Kerr Lake near the Virginia-North Carolina border about 15 miles north of Henderson, NC.
From I-85 or US 1 at Henderson, follow NC 39 north.
Two miles north of Townsville, turn right onto SR 1356.
Then, about 3 miles further, turn right on to SR 1359.
Follow signs to the Henderson Point State Recreation Area.

Whether you change your own bearings or have it done, you should be able to do it should you need to.
This is especially true if you travel a lot with your boat. Getting the parts sometimes could be a problem. Make up
a bearing kit for at least one wheel (both is better) to take with you on the road.

When traveling, always pull over and check your bearings for heat after you've gone a few miles down the road. If one side is consistently in the sun while traveling, that side may feel slightly warm.
